Catch Basin Repair

Catch Basin - Storm Sewer Repair / Replacements

Get Expert Diagnosis of Your Catch Basin System

Frequently exposed to running water and other eroding elements, storm sewer catch basins deteriorate, collapse, and can create a potentially dangerous hole in the ground. In addition, an improperly installed storm sewer system can leak below ground and cause sinkholes in your nearby pavement.

Let Hastings Asphalt Services take a look at your situation and diagnose the problem and then repair or replace your catch basin system.

Proper Grade Ring Replacement and Adjustment

Exposed to frequent ground freezes and thaws, it's not uncommon for the asphalt surrounding your catch basin to rise or sink. Adjusting grade rings can set the basin at the right level for proper drainage.

In this process, we'll cut and remove the asphalt around the basin and then excavate and replace the concrete grade rings as needed. We will also tuck point the interior of the basin to maintain its integrity and then replace and compact the asphalt itself.

Complete Basin Replacement Also Is Available

Sometimes the structural integrity of your catch basin will fail and a total replacement will be necessary.

We'll remove the asphalt, excavate the existing basin, and then fit in a pre-cast concrete replacement and connect the drain pipes. Afterward, the basin will be backfilled with stone and compacted in layers to prevent sinking and then we'll replace and compact the asphalt.
